I know...it's a gardening blog, Diane, not a puppy blog, but I can't help but post some recent pictures of the
pups. They are doing *so* well and I just love them. They have become a huge part of my life~~like how about the main focus of my life~~besides Harry and my family of course :-) They are strong, healthy, beautiful, obedient (most of the time :), loving puppies and all they want is to be with me. How lucky am I.

They've gotten so big! Your property is a beautiful place for them to play. Happy Easter to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteThey have gotten big, Cat! And they love to run around here. I'm so thankful we have the room for them. They love it way out here...as do we :) And thank you and Happy Easter to you and your family as well :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Diane! Your pups were blessed with one of the BEST homes ever it sounds like! Seeing them makes me miss my dobermans growing up. Mom always kept a doberman as her dog growing up. Now we adopted a lab here because my hubby was worried about dobermans and babies. I couldn't convince him that sometimes the dogs that look the most ferocious are really the biggest sweet hearts of all!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelsey! Happy Easter to you and your family as well :) These pups have been the best thing to happen to me in a long time. I know what you mean about looks being intimidating...these pups can look mean, but they are the sweetest things in the world. Labs are good dogs too. We had 2 (only one left :( but are very different from these girls! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kelsey! At the shelter I volunteer for we call the big, goofball dogs our "gentle giants". Many are 80 lb lap dogs!
ReplyDeleteI just found out one of my dogs is diabetic. His previous owner loved him with food, but by the time he was surrendered and came to live ith me, he was massively obese and the damage was done. He's down to a normal weight but now has to have insulin shots 2x a day.Fortunately, it just takes a minute and he just stands there while the other 4 dogs pace jealously! If only they knew...!!
Awe! They are just adorable, Diane.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love them so much.
It's amazing how big they have grown since I read the first post about them.
It looks like you guys have the right size of property for them to get all the exercise they need.
Even your blog is about gardening, you just got to keep posting about those two guys too. :)
Best Regards
Paula Jo
Thanks Paula! They are just so sweet; yes, I do love them. I will post on them from time to time because they are such a huge part of my life in the garden and the hills of South Texas. They are very good when I garden, too. They just hang outside the fence, romp with each other and forever watch me!
