I transplant them at the same soil level. That seems to work best. Thank you for visiting :)Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293853685174685134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998505042558888365.post-53607796853700639362011-03-30T14:57:41.108-05:002011-03-30T14:57:41.108-05:00I know that when I transplant tomato starts it is ...I know that when I transplant tomato starts it is a good thing to plant as much of the stem as possible because that encourages more roots and a stronger plant. Is the same thing true for pepper plants? Or should the seedlings be transplanted at the same soil level?Seren Dippityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09796943194321703519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998505042558888365.post-75645203663570125422011-03-21T08:43:20.314-05:002011-03-21T08:43:20.314-05:00Morning Cat! Thank you for your interest in my little Texas garden...it's always great to hear from you :)Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293853685174685134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998505042558888365.post-41664701662358860342011-03-21T08:20:05.732-05:002011-03-21T08:20:05.732-05:00Hi Diane, I didn't know about moving the grow ...Hi Diane, I didn't know about moving the grow lamp to keep the plants from getting leggy. Good tip! I too hate thinning seedlings - like you, I know it's for the surviving plants benefit but it hurts my heart. Thanks for posting your soil recipe too! I'm learning so much from your posts!Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03872899189875117518noreply@blogger.com
